Blue Star Print Group shines at Pride in Print Awards 2015

Blue Star Print Group enjoyed spectacular success at this year's Pride in Print awards. The annual awards, held at Wellington's TSB Arena on Friday 1 May 2015 saw Blue Star businesses walk away with 2 Category Winners, 25 Gold Medals and 15 Highly Commended entries. Add to that the highly coveted and respected Apprentice of the Year Award and overall it was a record-breaking year for New Zealand's premium print group.
The Pride in Print Awards showcase the best of the best in New Zealand print. They are the showpiece of the highest standards in the industry and the printers who have attained these standards.
Judging is based on technical excellence in all facets of the print production process, and takes into account the potential and the limits of that process or processes, the materials and the equipment used. Elements of typography and good design are part of the judgment, as is the effective and innovative use of materials.
