Blue Star Print Group shines again at Pride in Print 2016

Blue Star Print Group was star of the show once again at the Pride in Print Awards, held this year at Auckland's Sky City on Friday 13th May.

Both Printlink and Brebner Print won Category awards - Printlink in the Packaging category, and Brebner Print in the Promotional Print category. Kinetic Digital took away the Process award in the Digital category.

Add to that the 32 Gold medal winners - every Blue Star production business represented here - and 23 Highly Commended entries, and the evening saw the Print Group break its previous year's record.

The Pride in Print Awards showcase the best of the best in New Zealand print. They are the showpiece of the highest standards in the industry and the printers who have attained these standards.

Judging is based on technical excellence in all facets of the print production process, and takes into account the potential and the limits of that process or processes, the materials and the equipment used. Elements of typography are part of the judgment, as is the effective and innovative use of materials.
